“A great big thank you to Amanda Waddell for all her help in getting my brother admitted to Coral Bay Care Center. The process at times, seemed to be overwhelming, but Amanda was there every step of the way. At this time in his life when he was so discouraged with health problems and just life itself she was so encouraging with such kindness, sympathy, and her sweet spirit. She does not meet a stranger and treated us as though she had known us forever. We love and appreciate Amanda!”
“The 4th Floor Staff take excellent care of Alzheimer’s & Dementia Patient’s! My Mother-in-law Margaret Russell has been there since Hurricane Michael Hit Panama City, FL and destroyed their Nursing Homes! Margaret was sent by Bus that night during the storm! The Staff are Awesome! Visitors & Staff have to use a different code everyday to use the Elevator! So their Patient’s can’t leave or get lost!”
“Coral Bay was the answered prayer we needed – Amanda and the admissions team (Samantha and Jean) helped make it happen! Since my Dad has been at Coral Bay, he’s received excellent physical therapy, quality care from the nurses and been given a friendly envirnoment in which to heal and progress. I wish I remembered all the names to say thank you to…. but I’ll just say THANK YOU Coral Bay!”
“Last week I had an emergency situation with my aunt and needed to get her into a skilled nursing facility as quickly as possible. The staff here was patient and kind, educating me on the process, explaining the details, and helping me every step of the way. I ultimately chose this facilty based in large part on how they treated me, the family member, knowing that same respect and compassion would be given to my aunt as a resident. So far she is very content here and is receiving the level of care she needs.”
“I have worked with many healthcare professionals in the community the past 30 years. The staff at Coral Bay Care Center are always very helpful and caring. I have called Amanda Waddell many times to assist with a difficult placement for hospice. Amanda and the entire admissions team have always done an excellent job and always demonstrate real compassion when dealing with the patients and their families.”
“Upon needing a Long Term Care Skilled Nursing facility for my Mother, I felt like I would be overwhelmed and have an exhaustive search for the right place. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Coral Bay felt right the second I walked through the door. I was greeted by a charming caregiver that directed me straight to the individual I needed to speak too. Remember, my first impression was already to the point that I was in the right place. Then, I met Amanda. Her knowledge and expertise of the process to gain my Mom’s admittance was a true blessing. She walked me through this process step by step which provided me even more confidence that my Mom would be happy and well taken care of here.
Nobody looks forward to having to make the difficult decisions regarding our elderly loved ones long term care. However, with a professional staff such as Amanda, my decision was made much less stressful!”
“There are not enough stars on here nor enough words to express how amazing this facility is! The staff bends over backward from the minute you make the call all the way through the admitting process! Amanda and Jean went beyond any expectations!! You walk in and the place is immaculate, and beautifully decorated and everyone is just so helpful and professional!! The residents look happy and well cared for and the communication from facility to resident…again…not enough words!! The Director of Nursing, Rebecca, has everything under control and her staff is attentive and caring!! The therapy department keeps you informed of progress or lack of but keeps you updated!! I have been to way too many facilities through my years of taking care of my family member and by far this facility is best of the best!!! Thank you Coral Bay!! You are amazing!!!
“My father has been in this facility for a year and a half. Amanda Woodall has been a saving grace for both of us. She helps and gets me answers to absolutely anything I may ask, she is very quick to respond and is always so sweet and happy. She has definitely relieved a lot of my worries and stress with my father’s situation. I don’t know where we would be without her!”
“True story! My classmate brought her mom to Coral Bay from another high-rated facility. She would not eat or talk, the doctor suggested a feeding tube and she refused. After a few weeks of coming to the 3rd floor dining room – she was eating and talking. I believe it was the company of the other residents that spoke her language and the food that was mostly soul food. She became the most talkative, plump and beautiful resident on that floor. Her daughter cried when she returned to see her.”
“My sweetheart had to be placed at Coral Bay when I realized I could no longer keep him safe from his dementia. With the help of a knowledgeable and compassionate attorney, I found Coral Bay. It is not brand new, but not obsolete. It is not fancy or high-tech looking, but it is warm and friendly. I drop in and every time the staff is interacting with the residents in a positive manner. My sweet man is comfortable now and feels safe there. I take him out to lunch, to get haircuts, to visit friends and places once familiar to him; yet he is always relieved when I bring him back to Coral Bay. The RNs and LPNs are knowledgeable about addressing the needs of the people they take care of, specifically dementia and Alzheimer patients. In our case, they have gone out of their way to treat any issue that has come up for him and issues are going to come up whether you expect them or not. The staff has handled each issue with professionalism and care. The CNAs are warm and caring, and engage with each patient with respect. I am grateful for the assistance and support the business staff has provided, I am especially grateful to his Case Manager and Social Worker for coordinating all of the extra services he qualifies for. Coral Bay is beautifully landscaped and has a welcoming exterior. It’s a hidden jewel and I thank God we found it.”
