My Mother-in-law Margaret Russell has been there since Hurricane Michael Hit Panama City, FL, and destroyed their Nursing Homes! Margaret was sent by Bus that night during the storm! The Staff is awesome! Visitors & staff have to use a different code every day to use the Elevator! So their patients can’t leave or get lost!”

“True story! My classmate brought her mom to Coral Bay from another high-rated facility. She would not eat or talk, the doctor suggested a feeding tube and she refused. After a few weeks of coming to the 3rd-floor dining room – she was eating and talking. I believe it was the company of the other residents that spoke her language and the food that was mostly soul food. She became the most talkative, plump, and beautiful resident on that floor. Her daughter cried when she returned to see her.”

“My sweetheart had to be placed at Coral Bay when I realized I could no longer keep him safe from his dementia. With the help of a knowledgeable and compassionate attorney, I found Coral Bay. It is not brand new, but not obsolete. It is not fancy or high-tech looking, but it is warm and friendly. I drop in every time the staff is interacting with the residents in a positive manner. My sweet man is comfortable now and feels safe there. I take him out to lunch, to get haircuts, and to visit friends and places once familiar to him; yet he is always relieved when I bring him back to Coral Bay. The RNs and LPNs are knowledgeable about addressing the needs of the people they take care of, specifically dementia and Alzheimer patients. In our case, they have gone out of their way to treat any issue that has come up for him and issues are going to come up whether you expect them or not. The staff handled each issue with professionalism and care. The CNAs are warm and caring and engage with each patient with respect. I am grateful for the assistance and support the business staff has provided, I am especially grateful to his Case Manager and Social Worker for coordinating all of the extra services he qualifies for. Coral Bay is beautifully landscaped and has a welcoming exterior. It’s a hidden jewel and I thank God we found it.”
